Notes:
This collection, first published in 1649, is based on the earlier collections of Joachim Perion and Henri Estienne; cf. prelim. p. [5]. BLC erroneously states they are the editors of this work. The editor is unknown; neither can he be Jobus Veratius, whose essay has been used by the editor as a preface to this collection.
Nagle Library Rare Books Special Collections copy is lacking publisher's title page, instead has handwritten on flyleaf in ink: "Orationes ex Sallustio, Livio, Tacito et Q. Curtio, In usum scholarum, Roterodami, Impensis I Bullen. A.D. 1681". No record exists for this place of publication, publisher, or date of publication.
