Contains 13 musical settings of the Magnificat. Red cloth binding with gold stamped. Title page in red and blue with silver border, with figures in blue. T.p. verso has woodcut view of the Island of Lerins. Contains seven full-page plates in full color illustrating the life of the Virgin Mary, printed by the Benziger Brothers and Societe St. Augustin, Bruges. Contains 22 plates of flowers in colors, each within colored border of a different design. Each page of text enclosed by a different woodcut border, mostly printed in color. Abbey's dedication to the Virgin Mary signed: Fr. Maria Bernadus, Abbas Lerinensis, 1886.
